Iran’s tourism to grow by 6.6% in 2015
A recent report shows Iran’s tourism industry will grow by 6.6 percent in 2015.
The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) in a recent report has put the value of Iran’s tourism industry for 2014 at about $7.8 billion.
The WTTC in its report titled has added that it expects Iran’s tourism industry to grow by 6.6 percent in 2015.
The report has further said that in 2014 travel and tourism in Iran directly supported 413,000 jobs which is equal to 1.8 percent of the country’s overall employment.
This, it added, is expected to rise by 4.4 percent in 2015 and rise by 4.3 percent to 656,000 jobs (2.2% of total employment) in 2025.
